Rockin’ Rockwall Weekend

This week and upcoming weekend, the city of Rockwall has several exciting events to help your family get ready for the Christmas season! If you’re looking for a place to donate or if your gingerbread house building skills have lost their acumen, Rockwall has got it for you!

At the Ridgeview Church of Rockwall, the community is putting on an “Evening in Bethlehem” that you do not want to miss! This Friday, December 11th at 6pm, you can join other Rockwall families to share in an evening that includes a live nativity production, music, gospel presentation, and other activities for the children!

The next morning, have breakfast with Santa! Santa Claus will be at The Center in downtown Rockwall this Saturday December 12th at 8:15am to eat pancakes and bacon with the kids of Rockwall. You can bring your kids Saturday morning to tell Santa exactly what they want for Christmas this year. You can bring your camera to capture this lovely Christmas moment! There are limited tickets available, so check the website soon to register. Any and all ages welcome!

As Christmas is the spirit of giving, don’t forget the less fortunate this holiday season–there is a Toys for Tots Drive at the Three Sheets Saturday, December 12th. It is a collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps and Three Sheets!  The U.S. Marines take donations on hand. You can either bring a new and unwrapped toy or a $10 donation, and receive a free pizza of your choice!

If you’re still unsatisfied with the amount of Christmas in your life, mark your calendars for Gingerbread House Building! You can build your very own gingerbread dream house, whether its a gingerbread mansion or a respectively-sized gingerbread townhouse, bring a bag of candy to share and get to it! It’s December 15th 5:30-7:30pm for ages three to twelve.

Mark your calendars and break out the Santa hats, Rockwall!
