O.C. Halloween Happenings

If you live in Orange County and are wondering how to spend your Halloween this year, look no further! If you’re too old to trick-or-treat, below are a few different options for this beloved holiday. If you want to be scared, don a crazy costume, or contribute to your community, the Modtown Blogger has you covered!

Anaheim:

If you live in Anaheim, you can pay a visit to Motel 6 Feet Under, “the scariest haunted house in Orange County!” They boast state-of-the-art props and animatronics guaranteed to scare the life right out of you. One not-so-scary thing about this haunted house is that its proceeds go to a non-profit organization called BOO that benefits local adults by giving them construction training. Motel 6 Feet Under goes until Halloween!

Huntington Beach:

This Saturday, October 24, the OSPCA is hosting a “SPOOKTACULAR”–it is a walk to trick-or-treat with your loved ones (and your kids) through a route of vendors! Festivities include costume contests, bounce houses, and more! The event will be held at Huntington Beach Central Park East.

Orange:

You do NOT want to miss this incredible event! The annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival is here. It will take place at Moreno’s Restaurant, providing ballet folklorico and mariachi bands! You will also have the opportunity to have your face painted (per Dia De Los Muertos tradition) and there will be candy for the kiddos! The festival will go from October 24th 6pm-November 1st 5pm.

Laguna Hills:

The Empty Grave is a haunted house featuring special effects, live actors, and animatronics! It is one of Southern California’s longest running independent haunted houses. Pay $12 to walk through this house of horrors full of mirrors, creepy sound effects, and creatures that make the hair on the back of your neck stand up!

If you live in these areas, put on your Hillary Clinton mask or Batman cape and explore these Halloween festivities!
