Post-Valentine’s Dallas

Did your Valentine’s date not go quite as planned? Well, here’s your chance to redeem yourself, because the Modtown Blogger is going to tell you what is going on in Dallas this weekend! If you got food poisoning from those oysters or your date fell and chipped his tooth on the sidewalk, we’ve got you covered.

If you’re in the mood to laugh at yourself and others, see either Jay Pharoah at the Improv in Arlington, Texas! A member of SNL will guarantee you laughs to last you for weeks. He is performing on Friday, February 19th, so get your tickets too! Another opportunity to laugh a little can be found at the House of Blues with Marlon Wayans! Comedy extraordinaire will be performing in Dallas Saturday, February 20th.

According to D Magazine, the Critics’ Pick this weekend is the Dallas Theater Center’s Romeo and Juliet! Nestled in the beautiful Oak Lawn area of Dallas, this theater is going to take you away to Verona, Italy. It’s a phenomenal production and then afterwards you can take a stroll through Turtle Creek Trail.

If you’re a bit old-school and your date is too, buy some tickets for Barry Manilow performing at the American Airlines Center on Thursday, February 18th! Enjoy this oldie playing some oldies to take you back a few decades. Tickets range from $20 to $250, so depending on how much you love one of the best-selling artists of all time, you can choose your price!

Every weekend, the Deep Ellum Brewing Company gives tours every Thursday! For only $10 per person, you can tour the brewery like a kid in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, but instead of chocolate, it’s delicious, savory beer.

Redeem your Valentine’s Day or keep it going this weekend.
