Local Brews and Local Grooves of Dallas, August 8th

Dallas has several different neighborhoods, each with its own distinct character. These neighborhoods always have events to cater to their community, such as the Bishop Arts Wine Walk, Late Night museum openings in the Arts District, and Deep Ellum Art Walks. The different neighborhoods also join together for several events, and on August 8th, it is in the spirit of Local Brews Local Grooves.

In the heart of Dallas, the House of Blues is once again hosting the “Local Brews, Local Grooves” event–the self-proclaimed ultimate craft beer and music festival this Saturday.

A wristband (costing $12.50 in advance) gives you access to free samples of various local brewery craft beers and some incredible food! All local bands will be performing on the four stages the House of Blues has to offer, allowing you to survey several different performances while enjoying a craft beer (or two) from local vendors. Beloved Dallas breweries such as Deep Ellum Brewing Company, Rahr and Sons, and Revolver will be participating in this annual event. Some of the breweries are rumored to be creating speciality beers for this event in order to best exhibit their neighborhood. If that isn’t Texas pride at its finest, I don’t know what is!

The event begins at 4pm and wristbands are available for purchase at the door. The House of Blues is incredibly easy to get to thanks to the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) system. If you take the DART, the Victory station drops you off five minutes from the House of Blues.

Find some refuge from the Texas summer heat and make the House of Blues your sanctuary. See one of the finest entertainment venues that Dallas has to offer while enjoying great food and music at Local Brews Local Grooves!
