It was recently completely renovated from the area it once was in North Oak Cliff. The people of Dallas knew that it was an area you did not want to visit. However, thanks to a complete renovation, people cannot stay away! It has over sixty boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and coffee shops. There is a seemingly infinite variety of things to buy here, including clothes, antiques, furniture, prints, and marvelous dishes.

The Bishop Arts District is an incredibly vibrant area, especially when wine is involved.

The Bishop Arts Wine Walk begins when you buy a wine glass; it is $15 before the event, and you are able to replenish it as the night goes on. In the mean time, you are able to peruse through the different shops and restaurants that stay open late for the public.

The event goes from 6pm-9pm and the stores offer special deals to those who go. You can sip on your delicious wine while smelling artisan soap or admiring the edgy floral shops. Many local favorites have opted to join the Wine Walk! The shops include We Are 1976, Dude, Sweet Chocolate, and Emporium Pies. You have a great opportunity to also look at the extensive art work that is kept in the Bishop Arts District and the carefully built custom furniture.
