Beer and Yoga

This event does the body and the soul some good; the yoga heals the body, the beer the soul.

Join other Dallas yoga and beer enthusiasts for the once-a-month Beer Yoga! If you’re unfamiliar (as surely most of you are), this new trend has made its way across America and into The Collective Brewing Project in Fort Worth, Texas.

On August 15th, The Collective Brewing Project is once again hosting an hour-long session of yoga in their taproom. This quirky and edgy venue pairs two unlikely things and transforms them into a beautiful combination. For $20 a person, you can participate in the yoga session and afterwards (or before…or during) you are guaranteed two pints of CBP’s draft masterpieces.

If you’ve never been, The Collective Brewing Project is located in Fort Worth and identifies itself as “Fort Worth’s first franken-monster of a brewery.  We’re an unholy marriage of production brewery and badass taproom.” This intriguing taproom offers other wonderfully bizarre events aside from Beer Yoga. They also host “Vinyl Night” where people come to play their vinyl records and get $1 off of the first pint and “Geeks Who Drink,” a trivia night.

The venue itself is eclectic and alluring without being pretentious. Its laid-back and warm environment has pulled in crowds from the entire DFW Metroplex. They also make board games like Jenga available to enjoy while drinking a Petite Golden Sour or a Tropic Thunder.

Start practicing your chaturanga and come enjoy many of CBP’s drafts.
