18th Annual DFW Restaurant Week

Have you ever wondered if there was a way to enjoy the finest food in Dallas while also donating to charity?

Here’s your chance: Dallas is hosting its annual “DFW Restaurant Week” August 10-16, 2015. The best restaurants in Dallas offer their dishes in preset menus that are a manageable and welcome price to the general public. You can either opt for a three-course fixed dinner ($35-$45) or a two-course lunch ($20).

20% of each meal purchased goes to the North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope in Fort Worth; last year, this event alone raised over $700,000. North Texas Food Bank is an integral non-profit organization in the community, as it provides food to local children, seniors, and families who would not otherwise be able to afford a proper meal. Each day, they provide 170,000 meals–this institution has made great strides in closing the hunger gap in the areas it serves.

You can help by participating in their biggest fundraiser of the year! There are over 125 restaurants across the metroplex participating this year, including favorite such as: III Forks, Abacus, Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House, DISH, Jaspers, Del Frisco’s, Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse, Sambuca, Lavendou Bistro, Seasons 52, and Eddie V’s.

Caution: if the restaurant has more than one location, make sure the one nearest to you is involved with DFW Restaurant Week.

So, impress your business associates or treat your significant other to an evening of Dallas’ first-rate cuisine while donating to North Texas’ largest non-profit during DFW Restaurant Week!
